Ballpoint pens
Ballpoint pens or biros are the most widely used writing instrument. Their strengths are also many and therefore have lead to their widespread use: minimal drying time, easiness of use, practical and low costs per sheet.
Ballpoint pens are ideal for short notes or writing on thin paper as there is no colour bleed on the back of the sheet. The refilling of the ink paste takes place via convenient refill mines that exist in a varaiety of colours. In the simplest models, however, a refill mine change is not possible.
When choosing the perfect ballpoint pen, there are three factors to be considered besides the design:
• your hand size
• weight preference
• surface material preference
Over the course of more than 135 years of selling writing instrument experience, we have distilled these three factors as essential when choosing your ideal ballpoint pen. -
