El Casco
El Casco is the brand name of the Basque company Olave, Solazabal y Cia, S.A. established in Elgata (near Bilbao) for its high quality desk accessories as early as 1920. El Casco is Spanish and means the center or the helmet.
All El Casco products are designed both material and design wise to achieve an unusually long lifetime. The items can be repaired without special tools and has already been considered in the design. The exact opposite of the planned obsolescence of many of today's products. Thus, El Casco can easily offer 30 years warranty on material and workmanship (longer, or lifetime warranty is not allowed under German law).
The highly manual production allows the creation of these extraordinary desk accessories. A special note deserves the perfect surface finishes ranging from 23-carat gold to precious chrome, which are in our opinion immaculate. -
