With FLOW Origine and FLOW Evoluzione, SCRIBO presents a new interpretation of the FLOW collection, introducing for the first time a version made of glossy resin.

A project that explores a new relationship between material, light, and form, while remaining true to the identity of the collection.

Origine and Evoluzione tell the story of every act of writing. Every word is born from an intuition, a memory, or a thought seeking a form. That first mark sets in motion a process that continues, transforms, and grows richer over time.

The glossy surface interacts with the light, which moves across the twenty-four facets, enhancing their geometry and depth. Every movement of the fountain pen reveals ever-changing reflections, continuously transforming the perception of its surfaces.

Touch also tells this story. The resin offers a smooth, solid, and uniform surface, maintaining the natural continuity between hand and writing that has always defined the FLOW collection.

The introduction of resin also led to a re-evaluation of certain design details. The base has been redesigned and lengthened by 2.5 millimetres , a subtle refinement that creates an even more harmonious relationship between the fountain pen body and the cap, contributing to the overall balance of the silhouette.

FLOW Evoluzione tells the story of the natural evolution of that first gesture. The mother-of-pearl green finish expresses the resin  through ever-changing reflections and shades. Light moves across the surface, revealing new depths each time, just as thoughts continue to evolve through the act of writing.

Each model is identified by its limited production run and year of manufacture; the 140 pieces of FLOW Origine , finished in yellow gold , and the 90 fountain pens of FLOW Evoluzione , finished with ruthenium accents, signify a limited production run and mark each stage of the manufacturing process over time.

A subtle detail that makes each fountain pen part of the collection’s history, before becoming part of the history of whoever chooses it.

With FLOW Origine and FLOW Evoluzione, the collection continues its journey through a new material, subtly refined proportions, and two finishes that offer a fresh interpretation of the same design. 

An evolution that remains true to the identity of FLOW and reaffirms the philosophy behind every SCRIBO writing instrument: quality stems from the balance between design, craftsmanship, and the pleasure of writing.
