The nib of the fountain pen is equipped with an 18-K/750 gold nib with paw motif. The Patrons of Art Edition Peggy Guggenheim was launched in April 2016. The writing instrument presented here is a fountain pen with nib size "M".

With the Patrons of Art Limited Edition Peggy Guggenheim, published in 2016, Montblanc honors one of the most influential American collectors and exhibitors of contemporary art.

The design of the fountain pen is inspired by works of art from the Art Deco period of her collection. In memory of Peggy Guggenheim's Palazzo Venier dei Leoni lion heads are engraved on the cap ring.
