Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Macassar Füllfederhalter
The cap of the Classic fountain pen is a fine mechanical masterpiece made of several parts. Inside it carries a screw mechanism, which prevents unintentional loosening of the cap, e.g. due to vibrations during transport, by means of an additional end lock.
The clip is assembled from several parts with precision craftsmanship and spring-loaded. This ensures a firm hold for years to come. The thread between front part and housing is made of metal. This prevents breakage or wear and tear.
Graf von Faber-Castell Classic expands the Classic series with the Classic Macassar writing instruments by a fascinating variant. Thanks to the combination of the grained Macassar wood shaft and the PVD coated metal parts, the result is an optically completely new writing instrument.
The titanium PVD coating is very resistant and has its own character. The Macassar wood, a tropical hardwood, comes from the ebony family and is considered one of the hardest woods. Its grain varies from writing instrument to writing instrument and varies from brown to black.
It is unique because of its long, narrow body and the cap with the prominent clip.
Combined with the extremely soft writing 18-K/750 gold nib, the Classic fountain pens occupy a special position among all high-quality fountain pens.
