All leather products of the EPSOM series are made of Italian calfskin. This leather, which is highly appreciated by experts for its high-quality properties, is characterised by its stability and suppleness at the same time. It can be processed very finely.

EPSOM leather is tanned in a gentle and environmentally friendly process. Thanks to the high craftsmanship in tanning, EPSOM leather is exceptionally compatible with silver. After tanning, the leather is embossed, giving it its typical structure and special durability. Thanks to the smooth surfaces on the inside of the leather products, the result is a fascinating look.

The seams of the Graf von Faber-Castell collection are hand-stitched with a high-quality and extremely stable thread. This requires a high level of manual dexterity, as correction is no longer possible in the event of an error in the visible seam.
